Contain three 1/4"-thick plastic shims with three matching 2" screws.
This shim kit is used with John Wright’s offset strap hinges (#88-625, -626, -627, and -628). The shims are mounted behind the hinge pintle plate and increase its offset. You can use either one, two, or all three shims. The total throw of the hinge-pintle combination is also increased. This can expand your mounting options and provide more clearance for trim, storm windows, or other obstructions. Screws included.
