Special Purpose Pintle has 1½” offset and is designed to expand the mounting possibilities of shutter hinges. Works well with brick or block by moving the screws away from the edge, thus reducing the chance of cracking. These pintles work with John Wright’s Mid-Range, Strap, and Mini Strap hinges. Pin diameter is .375″. Design is reversible for left- or right-handed use. A set screw locks the removable pin into place. Adapter is available upon request for use with John Wright Strap hinges. Screws and plastic anchors are included.
